First, you can try to take apart the original system and ride without. It work very well !

Hi Bowen,

you can either try to buy it in a local shop close to you because if you are lucky they can buy the RAB as spare parts from Deeluxe.

If this is not successful you can buy it from Bomberonline in USA:

Good luck

I just called Raichle/Deeluxe for a spare part on my boots. .
Just give them a call and ask for the closest certified dealer. This will most likely be a shoeshop. Givem a call, tell them what to order, go there and pick it up.

It's as easy. But be prepared that the RAB will be around 50 Euros. So you might as well score a boot with RAB on ebay. E.G a 325. Then you have some spare parts on top

Anyhow, you will only find the original on the market. You must tune it yourself

hi bowen.
AFAIK you first have to get the original RAB and then modify it. For that look up the old posts, and ask where to get the longer spring. I think that there were even some mods using only parts of the original RAB, namely the upside-down mod. You cannot buy it out of a box.

I am short on money at the moment so I did not try it out yet. (buying slalom race skis (real ones, not just the ones you get in a shop) is my 1. goal, slopes are becoming to crowded to extremecarve all the time)

Bowen,

if you are referring to this RAB version, it is over there --> http://www.takamaasto.net/boots/spring.avi

The things you need to do:
1. Buy the original one. Try e.g. BlueTomato, they might have it even if it is not listed.
2. Get a pair of softer and longer springs. Browse e.g all your local hardware shops.
3. Do modification work according to your own personal preference. The goal is to get more forward lean than boots originally have. You can find several threads on that topic.
4. Go riding and enjoy your work!
