At my opinion all boards are something between 7 and 14 Years old, so they are realy old, but for a price tag of 10 Swiss Francs up to 50 Swiss Francs, its o.k.

All secondhand-boards must be screened from the salesagent there, the stuff is in good to excellent condition.
She told me, that some boards are in a realy good shape, only with fine scratches on topsheet coming more from storage, then from using them.

Very view new Boards for off-piste-riding:

Just screened the pictures on my camera from last month and foundet:

I recently visited in Switzerland a second-hand store and saw between some old computers, furnitures and music-disk -> see picture!

General-price for Alpineboards without bindings was at SFr. 10.-, with bindings at SFr. 20.-
It seems they realy know than Virus Snowboards are verry expensive. As the only alpinboard, the 1995/96 Invader 159cm comes with a 25% higher price-tag then the others: SFr. 25.-!

Boards from: Hooger, F2, SantaCruz, Nidecker, Virus, Burton, Rad-Air, X-Cuse and some more freestyleboards with plate-bindings.

At an other store I saw weeks ago a brand new Sims Blade ATV 171 from about 1987-1990 (no Inserts, no drilled holes!)

@Freecarver & Hans
good questions!

Perhaps Nobody here! This boards have been manufactured and sold only for good riders, e.g. for World-Champions on Raceboards, like 5 time with Mistral Sonic's, or several time with Nideckers Extreme, or for people they feel easy to carve like them on the pictures. Now-a-days Donek's or such freecarvers modells are probable not for World-Champions, but more for people from country's far away from the alps - I dont' know. But what I saw now, there are brands today they show us internet-homepages like very similar style to the presentations of Mistral snowbords 10 Years ago! (but without to have World-Champions on their boards)

Vitaly! Northwaves? - what do You dream about! What do You realy dream about?

The boots are the Moyo's, this one with 3 buckles. Depending on type of boot, there are also several models with 4 buckles + 1 Velcro. And they had different spring systems, like only one spring for vorward flex, or two springs for forward and backward lean (position and hardness can be adjusted / different set of springs-type), but no walk-mechanism! Buckles are different to. Collar could be adjusted for different side-canting and different side-flex and different twist! The sole-parts are interchangeable, there are standarts and twinsole's (softer rubbber-sector to boot-inside and harder rubber-sector to boot-outside), but not compatible with Intec-heels. The Mojo's had been sell in realy many stores, much more stores then NW's.

Vitaly, Nortwaves! Who realy wants to buy some Northwaves? - Nobody! Look at this Mojo-Boots: While the top-of-the-end boots from Northwave had been once at DM 629.- (cheapest DM 399.-), the boots with this shell like Mojo's had been at DM 998.- (cheapest DM 449.-)!

Vitaly, Nortwaves! Who realy wants to buy some more Northwaves? - Nobody! While other brands put some new lines of hardboots on market, they stoped production of NW hardboots. Why? just because there is no needness of Northwave hardboots from the most snowboarders with raceboards on market.

Vitaly, Nortwaves! Who realy wants to buy some Northwaves at all, even on sale? - Nobody, realy nobody! While Mojo's had been at SFr. 199.- and was sell-out in one season, the Nortwaves need 3-4 seasons and was finally on 2001 at SFr. 99.-, available from size 41-44, same to the Point-900, but some Francs higher! I'm not talking from a closeout-shop, I'm talking from a good sporting-good shop, which sells nowadays also alpine-snowboarding stuff. After closeout from 2001 they bring them to the rubbish recycling oven, so I could cooking a coffee out of electricity, coming from the heat for the steam-turbine-generators!
