Dear Pokkis.

I started a new Thread in the German corner about where to start your season. I think, most German speaking resorts are only visited be German speking people, but obviously I fogot about the Finnish ;)

We will have to whatch Snowfall, but I very much would like to be in Sölden on the first December Weekend. So if we have enough snow, we will meet there (would be very nice).

have a nice weekend

Sölden

Tom,

What are the chances of having good quality snow on the first of November there?

I'm considering to start the season there & then.

Kindest,

István

McFussel,

Ok, point taken.... we'll see. I'm ready to risk that weekend, hopefully some of the glaciers around there (Pitztal, Ötztal, Kaunertal, Tux) will be up and running!

By the way, what does 'chicken line' mean? For the first I read like 'Some people ride like chicken...some don't....' - it's much more fun this way

Cheers,

István

Hi McFussel

this may be true for you... :) :) :)
I can only speak for myselfe and have to say...

Although I managed it perfectly for last year's ECS, planning weather for December might be little early. So I will predict:
"If there is some mentionable snowfall and if it is cold, condition will be great.
If there is no snowfall and warm weather, conditions may be not so good."

Believe me or not ;)

Post by skywalker » Wednesday 9 November 2005, 13:42

Hi.

After some injury of my shoulder, my snowboaring will have a break until at least January. Only thing, that is shure, is ECS in February :( :( :( So no Sölden in December for me...

Hey, thanks for your good whishes.

I'm still alive, there's just a stupid shoulder trying to have some free time ;). Today's goal is to be back on snow before Christmas, so there will be enough time for training before ECS

@ Pokkis: I want pictures. ;)
