Help: english (or french) speaker(s)

Hello,

I bought a pair of raichle 323 on ebay.de . My german language level is close to zero. I can't understand the e-mail the seller sent me. He wrote:

"bei auslandsersteigerungen bitte ich die versandkosten im vorfeld abzuklären sorry geht das paket nach frankreich dann sind es 16 Euro Porto"

Can anybody translate to English (or French), you'd be very very nice.

Hmm, ok, I'll try. Sorry I've learned some french in school but that's long ago and far away... I hope my english will help you.

"When bidding in foreign auctions please check delivery costs in advance when sending to france postage will be 16 Euros."

I hope it's still a bargain for you.

I thought "auslandsersteigerungen" was maybe something about the payment method. So he doesn't seem to have any prefered method, that's what i was wondering. I usualy manage to understand (with sometimes help from freetranslation.com, wich i recommend) but this time i really couldn't find a translation for "auslandsersteigerungen".

Don't think you would find a word like "auslandsersteigerungen" in a dictionary as he seems to have invented it.

With the help of the other guys in the forum we could try and translate it all the way round from german to english, english to french, to finnish, norwegian, and so on and then back to german to see what has changed

Ok, translate this: "Je vends un Swoard 175 H, nouveau, 200,-- seulement pour Autrichiens."

Don't let me be misunderstood. I'm not selling a swoard. I hoped someone of you would ask me in which french paper/website I read this annonce and get jealous.. Bad humour, i know
