Shell size question
Hey,
Which boots have shorter shell with same liner size? UPZ or DeeLuxe/Raichle?
For me as person with foot lenght 29,5 mondo points the sorter shell is better choice to avoid boot-out.
cheers,
N.

I made some reasearch through this and bomber forum. As come to UPZ RC10 most ppl praise them.
I just starded my adventure with hard gear. My weight is 83kg with 186cm height. I'm riding F2 Speedster GTS 166 (longest available). Do You think UPZ RC10 are good choice for beginner? (I tried to ride with Ski boots and It was not as bad I as I thought It will be).

On F2 soft Intec boots you can fit all size in same binding, so that does not tell anythingstarikashka wrote:We made an experiment...Maxle use UPZ RC10 with 28.5 size. I use Deeluxe Suzuka with 27 size shell.
He was able to get into my bindings without any adjustment

Only meaningfull value is total space boot is taking plus additionally user preference to standing height
Any UPZ suggestion? According to many ppl and http://www.alpinecarving.com/boot_models.html "The sole base is shorter than most other boots, which allows lower binding angles." So UPZ is the choice, but what models should I consider?

Most important thing is a good fit. All other considerations are secondary. If you have heel lift or your toes go numb you don't care about having 5mm less boot out at the same angles. All hardboots can be adjusted to something usable, most aren't perfect out of the box. Secondary is the flex. If there is a choice left after that, you could consider shorter sole.narath wrote:I made some reasearch through this and bomber forum. As come to UPZ RC10 most ppl praise them.

Especially for a beginner experiencing boot out is actually a moment you want to celebrate. It means you are getting low enough!
