Hello, I am new to this and need help.
I am looking for a skwal to mount onto my sitski for some carving action.
Can someone help me. I am thinking something in the upper 160's to 170's cm in length with a very narrow mid.
some of what I do can be seen here: www.sitski.com
A good video clip is here: www.sitski.com/2004/video
click on the video called: carvinghunter.wmv

Have you considered a custom snowboard?
I am sure that any of the following will be glad to make a snowboard to your specifications:
http://www.donek.com/ ($850 but very highly regarded)
http://www.coiler.com/ ($550 (approx), but ~12 month waiting time)
http://www.priorsnowboards.com/ ($650 (approx))
I bought a a Coiler snowboard a couple years ago and just received my second, the long wait is due to high demand. Donek custom boards are more expensive but there was a board in his catalog with a 12cm waist last year. It's worth calling to see if he can still produce one for you at regular price ($550).
Also I read a while back that there are some carving skis coming out this year with sidecuts in the 13m range. If your sitski will work with something that narrow, it is worth a look. I've forgotten which skis I was reading about but I think they were from Head and maybe Fischer.
Good luck!
