Sölden Lift Accident

Post by István » Monday 15 November 2004, 18:08

U mean U were there?

Imagine the faces of the people sitting in the cabine behind the empty cabine that felt down at the moment when the cabine's console released the cable and the cabine itself started to dive down to the fuckin' nothing.... I would have shit my pants...

Fortunately no-one got hurt (I do not know whereto it felt, but there are places where it could have hit skiers)

I have also 'missed' the Kaprun accident with a couple of weeks, and now this one with 2 weeks..... hopefully my luck will continue....

It's a bit frightening as I plan my next snowboarding trip to Sölden on the first week of December....
