Hello
When surfing on
blue tomato, I saw the F2 Roadster, (mod 04-05) with 22cm waist width. A kind of mix between two of their model.
The strange thing is this board doesn't exist on the official F2 site!!
Its price is very low any informations about it??

Cheap alpine model from F2 for beginners and those who come from freestyling. No good for EC. Still on sale f.e. at

Hi!
I believe it is not a 2004/2005 model, otherwise it would be on the website. The design is not even this years design (no wooden like surface)
I remember that last season, or the season before the last season there was a board like this on the F2 site, called Roadster and it was a renewal of their earlier board called Alpine from season 2000/2001.
I have images and specs of the Alpine, it is absolutely the same as the Roadster. I can send it to you if needed.
So Frunobulax is right, this is a cheap alpine model, size 150, 156, 162, 166, with radiuses between 7.8 - 9.0., NO GOOD!
Cheers,
István

Hi,
i have tested for one week the roadster from F2 some years ago. Roadster is really a board for beginners, very soft flex.
Due to the flex and the small radius not good for EC.

You're very observant and absolutely right. It was the year he switched.

Hi Matt,
Peter Vu here. The other guys are right on regarding the Roadster. It's a beginner board and it is very difficult to EC with due to the short sidecut. It's also a much slower board compared to Swoard for example and this would prevent you to lay it down due to lack of speed.
Skywalker,
MLY is (I think) no longer produced. I have been told that I have outgrew the Roadster and one of the Tahoecarvers crew lend me the MLY. It's a 10m sidecut but it's not ideal for EC either even though it's a great allround board.
Cheers
Peter
