Nils,

NICE!

I met Seal in Mammoth 2 seasons ago. He used to be a pretty good carver as well, but said he can't really carve to hard anymore due to his knee problems... seems he is only out when the snow if soft theses days...

Cool videos - heli boarding is something that not many of us can afford....

Let me know if some of you know an economy (very cheap) way to do that, I'm interested.

The counter-rotation he does is really funny, it reminds me of myself - 7-8 years ago when I started to experiment with alpine boarding at some rides I've found an interesting rhytm in snowboarding and it felt so good that I thought - THIS IS IT, I'M COOL! Now I know that was counter-rotation.... fortunately got rid of it soon (actually not even got into it).

Nils, Seal as the soundtrack of the next EC video? Hm, sounds interesting... looking forward to seeing it!

Cheers,

István

I'm not gonna fall for that one...again.
Hopefully he'll post more boarding pics/vids on the site. I read that he is a regular at Whistler every year. Anyone else know other celebs that ride swallowtails, alpines, longboards (No, not Senator Kerry)...

Seal Website down

Post by fivat » Saturday 6 November 2004, 14:51

Yesterday the link worked.

It seems that today there are some problems on Seal Website.
Too many downloading maybe ;-)

I just checked a second ago, seems to be working...
I guess the EC forumers are giving the site too many hits!
Maybe he'll post some more stuff now that more people are watching...
