The same like these great boots, but just in specific special VIRUSlook, so they will be nice boots with a solelength that is just shorter than the DEELUXE boots and with a nice suspensionsystem and some very nice firm buckles to close your boots. I don't like the buckles of my AF700, the buckles of my STROLZBoots are by far the best I have ever had. So I think I am gonna stick with my new STROLZ for this season. My STROLZBoots innerboot has been made custom to my feet, they fit like gloves (they are made of full leather, they will last a lifetime). I thought that my AF700 fits well enough, but if you have experienced customSTROLZliners, other liners are way from these.

To me these boots looks very similar to my UPS RSV boots, except for the colour. Unfortunately, the picture don't show whether there is a spring system on the UPZ boots or not. My UPS RSV boots have springs. I have no great experience with boots but some. I usually use size 27.5. For the USPS I might rather have 27. I solved it by adding another molded innersole. Another experience is that the outer shell has a tendency of getting soft i warm weather, making it difficult to buckle up without pressure points, or the buckles could pop up. However, last spring I succeeded in buying a pair of Nortwave 900. When the winter comes I will try to make a comparison between the to brands and models.

The plastic used in the new UPZBoots are made of material that won't change in any temperature they are in. They stay the same. So the fit will not change but stay perfect in any temp. The material used, is the same material professional skiboots are made of in the World Cup. So the boots are far from the same, and they have a better bucklesystem and five instead of four buckles. They also are higher and can give more support with the strap at the top of the boots (change the strap into a boosterstrap, and I think you have a great boot). The buckles are solid and have many options to change the length. The sole of the boots are also shorter than the boots of Deeluxe. And to complete the info: the front of the boot is wider than the boots of Deeluxe, so less hassle for your toes.

I've been talking to Frank, the guy who is Virus, a few days ago. The Virus boot will be exactly the same boot as the UPZ, only with a different look (colour etc.). Hope this helps

Did you snowboard in Sölden? Were the slopes OK? The web said that there were only 2 km of slopes open. This is whay we changed to Tux.

End of October I'm going to Pitztal, but if Sölden has more snow I'm willing to go there instead of Pitztal (they are next to each other)

Hoi guys....

I cant tell you, it is as I said it would be!! VERY poor. There i no snow in fact! Pitztal you can completely forget. 2 slopes open. I can send you pctures this evening if you want too.

Weather forecast is telling, from friday on there will be snowfalls (some) but it needs at least 1 or 2m of snow. We were 10 carvers and no one has seen the glacier that bad bevore....
When I was biking there it was looking better - the liftguy said it was worst than in July!!!!!

Slopes were pure ice in the lower sections....if you are nuts (we were) you can carve there, but it hurts if you touch the ground AND there are even stones....

So....wait of do some vodoo for snow!!!!!

End of September there were only 2 km of slopes open that's why we finally went to Tux. Surely there were some snowfalls.

McFussel,

I'm praying for some snow for Pitztal. I have not booked the accomodation yet, depending on the snow conditions I might change to Sölden. Anyway, those two are close to each other, even if I screw up the booking we can still go to the other one.

It does not look that bad. But what I could not find is the snow-report and the open slopes. Do you know that link? (maybe its my poor German...)
