Winter is coming

Hi,
I just heard to day when visiting my ski shop that the winter is coming in the Norwegian mountains

. Last day it was -6degrees an powder at Galdhøpiggen summerskicenter, the Juvass glacier. They have also produced snow in the winter for good conditions in the summer. Funny to produce snow on a glacier.

It is a bad website only in Norwegian but has picture from August 24.
You may also check http://www.skiinfo.no Choose your language and then "Galdhøpiggen". The information is unfortunately not very updated, but will give you an overview of the location. The place is popular for alpine skiing training camps as well as for snowboarders.

We just have to wait 3 month for it to come down to us...

Do they export snow by plane??

We can supply you some snow, unfortunately due high demand our delivery time is now 4 months

But seroiusly as Harald stated, winter is coming and no news yet about dates for EC session 2005

As Pokkis, many are wondering when the winter's Zinal session will take place in order to plan their winter with vacations and leave from work and so on. Since the choice of time this winter was so successfull with nice weather and excellent snow, I suggest that we choose the same time the coming winter. According to my calendar that will mean from Saturday January 29 till Monday January 31. What do you say Jacques, Patrice, Nils, and all others

I'll publish the official info on this today or tomorrow!
This year the third day is a friday because Patrice's day off at school is friday instead of monday.
Dates are still unofficial until we have the feedback from Zinal's Resort on our inquiry ( should be positive!)

I think Harald, as well myself, are lucky ones with Swoard already

so our interest for new ones is just normal wish to see boards availbility for rest interest parties
