Boot size
Hello,
I'm looding for a 168M (they still have them on stock)
Now, i have a 43 eur shoe size.
Leingth of my boots is 32,4 cm. (they fit me perfect)
Now I'm kind of disapointed. Do I have a weard boot or what?
Usualy, what is the boot leingth of a 43 eur shoe size?

That sounds quite long due on Raichles it means like 29.5 size in older ones which is 5 mm more in new ones.
My 27.5, which is for me size 43, has length 299
EDIT: Ok, i noticed that instructions for measure are different than i assumed, most outer part is measured, inspite how high that is, yes that is thruth for P&J but not perhaps us mortals

Length of the board
Hey,
What's wrong with a 175? 175s might be a bit soft for you depending on your style, but definetely better than a 168.
My personal experience (188 cm, 90+ kg) with length is that the longer the board, the stronger the edge grip. I gradually went up from 163 cm to 175 cm and at every step I felt a huge increase in edge grip and stability.
Obviously, manouvering ability on bumpy slopes decrease, otherwise no flip-side effect was experienced.
Kindest,
István

Sizes and Flexes
Hi there,
At 72 kilos, you are below the optimal bottom range of the 175M that is designed for riders in the 74-85 kilos. The way to choose the board is idealy by following our chart, which is first feet size ( your boots are long so they ask for a 175 ) then height ( unknown but 175 range is from 181cm and up ) and then weight. Jacques has spent long hours, years to work on those flex and lenght paterns, and we can say the compromises found are the best for this style of riding.
The 175S range is intended for large feet riders that are above 181cm and less than 76 kilos. It means that if you are tall it is the good board for you. You could have also lots of fun on the M flex, but would get tired more easily, and on iced snow or very hard snow, the board grip would not be as efficient for you than the S flex.
Basically ALL the boards from 161S to 175H have exactly the same behaviour, spring etc. The only difference is the turn radiuses that is smaller on the small models.
Nils
PS: Come to the ECS TWO in Zinal and try the various types of Flex to get your own idea !

Hi Nils,
When do you guys start with making hotel reservations for the next Zinal EC meeting in January 2005? This year i definitely want to join the meeting, thus need a place to crash for the weekend.
Thanks!
