How steep is this compared to Rettenbach? I always have problems to see the real steepness if I'm not there myself. But the fact you can go from almost stopping into a semi EC'd carve says enough about it being steep

I love Rettenbach: is steep, wide and longher than this slope but is about 65% (max steep)!

At Kirkwood,Lake Tahoe area, there is a run, just right off chair 10 Wagon Wheel, named "The Wall", a double Black Diamond,it is so steep that he really look like a Wall.I saw a skier fall and it stop only at the end of the wall, waaaay down.Who know Kirkwood know what I am talking about.

You should have kept the spot secret! :silenced:
Some guys would kill their mother for such a slope! :D

It's good that they prepare this slope so flat.
In the area "Les Portes du Soleil", at the border France-Switzerland, there is a slope which is so steep and so icy (because it's south face) that every year someone dies. The people fall, take a lot of speed and bounce on the big moguls...

PS:
@DesertCarver: nice quiver! Are you kiteboarding, wakeboarding or both? Lake Tahoe must be the perfect place.

If you want to ride steeper slope, you should come to north
In Trysil, Norway they have this nice slope Experten, which they prepare normally few times a week. I've been there but did not ride it due then it was more or less moguls and 45 degrees= 100% is too steep for me on moguls with carving board.

At the end of the season, there is a SPEED SKI competition there and they prepare the slope perfectly. We could plan to go there the day after: it's open to the public. We could have great moments! Let's organize a SECS (sounds like sex ;-)): "Steep ExtremeCarving Session". :D
