It seems in Guadeloupe, Martinique, Guyana and La Réunion they use only some much wider and rounder shaped boards (for liquid, not for frozen water)!

Ok, ok! But You know last time I was in Guadeloupe (and St.Martin/Barthélémy, Martinique - we have been on travel comming from the Bahamas by a single-engine airplane Cessna 182), I saw this nice mountains (0 up to 1500-1600 m) and this very heavy rainfalls during the flight along the mountains. But I think it's some degrees too hot there, for accumulating meters of snow.
