caveboard v.s longboard v.s ripstick?(advice)

Post by willskee » Friday 14 November 2008, 5:32

hay all
ive been surfing for a little while now and ive been lookin around for one of these carve boards and so far ive had heaps of alternatives thrown at me but i cant seem to find information on all the above
i heard the carveboard was good at carving anywhere and is worth the money
but a longboard is more durable and can be ridden easier and then therse a ripstick
what im looking for is a board that helps me learn to surf easier what is the best bet out of the ripstick longboard or carveboard

Raphael tried all of them he might be of help there!
I never tried the carveboard but it sure looks fun.
Another great tool is the flexboardz, it carves like hell, goes fast and does absorb almost all terrain if needed ! A bit heavy and huge compare to your average longboard thu!

I have Carveboard and Flexboarz, had also some others but these 2 are closest to carving from my point of view.
I added eggschoks to Carveboard rear, and now it works more carve like.

They are different but either you pick, you should be happy camper.
Wheels of Carveboard are awesome and stability of Flexboarz is awesome.

It's seems better you'll go on Raphaël's website to find answers for your questions  :

Hey, what is status with those brakes currently?
I was lining for them and windbase like more than year ago and he promised to come back when available, but have heard nothing since.

Pokkis, contact Sebastien...it's more efficient than Pierre at the moment.
