I'm staying the same week but I'm not laying down any EC turns yet  I was planning to master my general carving technique and maybe start a bit with EC'ing by the end of the week.

Have you been to Soelden before? I might want to rent a better board than I own now (Hot Special), do you know if there is any place that rents decent alpine gear? Also I want to take good lessons, any recommendations?

TR, i`m not sure if you will be able to rent only original EC board, but you can get other that looks similar for 29EUR in a day with bindings in Sport Riml main shop near of Giggijohbahn. If then you will like to buy the board - renting will be free.

The guy who give me board tell that Swoard can be avaliable in Intersport for renting - nils should know better :-)

Check slopes 31, 25 and 14 - this is suitable for EC. Practicing on 13 and 15 slopes is good - both has steep short parts to lay down :-)

Cool, I'm looking forward more and more to my vacation 8)

I think it would be wise to E-mail some shops in advance instead of wasting precious snowtime searching when I'm there :)

Good luck for you. Check intersport first - people suggested that you can find Swoard there and then let me know and i will sorrow about lost opportunity.

Sport Riml can offer slightly differend board :-)

BTW - Nils, any suggestions where people can rent swoard in Soelden?

hmm...not sure this is right - the place where i rent had sport2000 logos. Check their main shop on the Dorfstrasse, closer to giggijoh lift. The have the store near of the lift itself, but it offers less options.

Main thing :-) can you find Soelden in that web site on the link? :-)

Somebody had posted another shop, something with boards in it. I had not contacted them yet so I hope the person that posted it can post it again!

They didn't mention the Swoard specifically only Virus, F2, Pogo (not a bad selection at all ofcourse).

Can anyone recommend an instructor in Soelden that teaches rotational carving technique specifically (and preferable even EC) and can really take you to the next level?

Seabird is right, my post included a link for Moreboards shop. I understood that it was an accident on server and some posts were lost.
So... you can find for rent F2 WC, Pogo, Virus, Sigi Grabner and Dupraz in Moreboards and Intersport at Glaislachkogl Tal [in the basement]. They have the same boards in both shops and you can switch boards between shops.
When we gonna see a Swoard in rental? :D
