The daily bread for Carvers!

Post by Schneewurm » Thursday 6 November 2008, 9:19

Wintertime was just set, snow was falling (in Switzerland mountains are now at 100 cm of snow, some at 200 cm at a high of 2500 over see level / to form a ball of snow I have to leave me keyboard about 14m) and one big player on swiss food market (Migros) feeds now all Swiss carvers with the one and only real carver-bread. Just a basic requirement for all authentic carvers in Switzerland - avaiable in about 600 stores (nation-wide)!

The carver-bread, just a tasty loaf, which gives every carver a powerfull and stylish ride, but only when it's eaten every day at winter time!

For all people joining ECS-2009 in Zinal they can buy some loafs at:
- Migros Geneva Airport (Railway Shopping Mall SBB/CFF) (small store?? - should be verified by Patrice Fivat)
- Migros Martigny (leaving Highway A9 at Martigny, drive to direction Gd. St.Bernard, after railway - on the right side / it's near to A9, free parking for short time at Migros)
- Migros Sierre/Sitten (leaving Highway A9 first at Sierre, visit Migros in the City from Sierre, follow to Zinal.

There is a hope, the Swoard-team will offer some sweet canapé on theirs testbase up on Zinal slopes. e.g. Pain Carving with Formaggini Ticinesi!

%) it`s Russian invention - we have this in every bread shop and it cost about 10-13 roubles, which can be converted to euro by division on 35 :-)

This is called nareznoy baton - in english same as carved bread :-)

You'r sure? Your characterized carved bread is also like ordinary bread in Switzerland. But they bake the carver-bread I talked about, extra for carvers on snow. There are a lot of them in Switzerland. Every sqaure of 14 km x 14 km in mean, a store is located, where you can buy carving-snowboards (the alpine one, not only freestyleboards!). I don't think then, every square of 14 km x 14 km in mean, you will find a bakery in CCCP - area is still to large.
