This happened on 2nd March 2008, in Splügen, Switzerland.
Our rider Antoine Pochon, with his Swoard (generation 3), won a boardercross (SBX)!
Congratulations to him!
The race took part into the "Moove Sympany Snow Series". Some of these races give FIS points and count for the Europacup. Unfortunately Antoine has fallen during the FIS race, but has won the Open race the day after (in which pro riders also participated). In the future he will take part in more races... He is very promising.
Everyone who has seen him in Zinal knows how strong he is!

Important note:
For racing, we recommend to use a harder flex than what you use for extremecarving!
Antoine is using a H flex though his weight is 75 kg only!

Well 11. qualification time on a FIS SBX even if in the end he only got 19. isn't bad nevertheless.
Congrats to Antoine and Thumbs up, cause riding down a SBX alone and fast is one thing, but staying ahead in the pack and winning is another thing.
On the other hand, looking at the results it's cool that in Switzerland there are so many good young participants, Antoine, born 1981 was one of the oldest.

Sure Felix, most on the young podium and following are also alpin racers!
e.g. (see pictures)
U-14-W 2. place: Sheyenne (first place is also a race-girl), or
U-14-M 1. place: Dario earn only 10 FIS-points less then the Swoard-rider.
You see, in capital Switzerland you can find even children, the want just to ride on Raceboards, not only be representing itself on Raceboards.
And of course last weekend half Austria was in Adelboden for a race.
