Secret lines :?: :?: :?:

La Masse, the red run from the top to mid station.
Cote Brune, from Mt de la Chambre direction Mottaret.
Mt du Vallon, above Mottaret.
Runs below Funitel Grand Fond, ValTho.

The runs directly above LM are directly sunfacing, so not ideal in april. Hard in morning, then good for about 90 mintues; slush in afternoon.

Wel yes,

By secret I mean the runs that arn't on the map.
If the snowconditions are good, I like to do a little bit of freeriding as well.

Thanks anyway for the runs you gave me!

I will try them out!

PS: On a scale to 10, how difficult is Les Menuires?
Who are the runs in "La Masse"-area? It's because you have red-runs and you have red-runs who are almost black!
I ask because I'm not alone, and if you take someone up to the mountains, you have to be sure that everyone enjoys the stay!!!

Offpiste:
-Lac du Loup, from top of Les Masses towards Boismint lift below ValTho.
-Yvoses, from old chairlift to right (also La Masse) towards Bettaix just below Les Menuires.

La Masse is opposite Les Menuires; pistes are oriented away from the sun therefore good snowquality. IMO best part of Les Menuires area. Strange enough, only (relatively!) small numbers of people go there. It's a bit off the beaten track.
Slopes are wide, the red run from the top is perfect for EC.

Hi,

2 years ago i was in Trois Vallee and i fully agree that La Masse is on of the best slopes and not to crowded so figure it out

NB: Is someone going in march or april to france especiall trois vallee or Tignes - maybe we could meet?

Cheers

Tommaso

Hy

Last year we went to Val D'Isère.
If I give you a tip, go to Le Fornet. That's a small village in the left corner of Val D' Isère and no people

Hi Dave,

thanks for the tip. I have beed several times to Tignes and thus know the area and pistes quite well. For Carving i really like the Col de Iseran galcier: good snow because up to 3200m and not too crowded.

Greets
