I was older even in that photo :wink: and all that stuff was bought just for boarding. I did nothing else on winter time but waiting ice melting away to be able start winsurfing before that winter :lol:

Ugly pictures? No problem!
I hope you don't mind if I post a skiing pic, but in 1984 I hadn't even heard about snowboarding.

By the way, I still have pictures of me skiing in 1965 (no typing error) - but those are not so ugly - neon colours had not yet been invented at that time!

my first time (and almost the only) with a pair of skis when i was 6 years old (1991)
and one of my first time on a snowboard , i was 14 years old (1999) :lol:

don't be jealous if I'm so young 8)

I just found proof evidence that I invented EC!!! :angel:

Look at my carpet riding practice turn from 1976 :evil2: .... and the implementation 31 years later.... :badgrin:

Look at my boots from the early days! No spring mechanism! Pure leather!
