@skywalker
wikipedia is not authoriative, we have some laws here in Switzerland, I hope there are some in Austria too, You should read them?
@fivat
I didn't post racist messages. What rasist is, see on law's at www.admin.ch also avaiable in French language!
By the way, have You do Swiss Military Service? Together with Swiss German, Swiss French and Ticinesi Poeple, a lot of weeks together, day and night?
Can you say me what I wrote wrong from all the facts about Zylon? Or about a resort: can You isolate one falshood that i wrote?
It seems telling real facts is stamped as negative against everyone in the world.
... recall you that Jean Nerva and Serge Vitelli are French! ... but not so populare here.
... I also heard the words (now obsolete) "hard carving" and "euro turns". ... Euro carve and radical carving and so on!
Hey, there have been a lot of Pictures and textures in Swiss and German magazines about extreme carving befor 2002! Take magazine like freeriding, .snow etc. from 1994-1999: Advertisement with an extremecarving poeple with hardboots from Riff&Raff, O'Neill, Gore Fibres and more. Other pictures from well known slopes in the alps and stories from volcano trips to Ätna, up to trips in Norwegen shows extreme carving too. Same pictures like here: Hardboots, wide freecarving boards, blue sky and snowspray on the air.
I dont remember exact the years, but it was arund the 1997 to 2001 you could see in central Switzerland nearly every weekend riders doing exact the same what you are proposing now here, whit theire F2 Speedster RS, at least with the F2 Speedster RS 196. Well Internet was small on 1997, and not used by every poeple and scanning fotos was a speciality.
So when I read on BOL "These are the only real extremecarving boards of the market" it' sounds a kind of funny! But every brand is free to use this words, because they are well known since more then a decade in raceboarding!
(And another thing: Thanks verry much for your answer fivat. By this a fonnd a test report over Virus Black Death ONE, hidden in a magazine!)

Hopeless

Again, what’s your point??Schneewurm wrote:By the way, have You do Swiss Military Service? Together with Swiss German, Swiss French and Ticinesi Poeple, a lot of weeks together, day and night?
And yes, I have been in the Swiss army: I have spent 407 days there. By the way, I’m half Swiss German.

Have a good season Schneewurm. See you maybe one day in Zinal. Note that the last ECS was the best we have ever had

Nope, thanks, I'm not talking about laws. Racism is not defined by laws, they only tell you, what's punished in a given state.Schneewurm wrote:@skywalker

I've been talking about something, maybe your mother should have tought you: Benehmen, Anstand, Respekt.

thx, I read it again. I didn't wrote snow conditions are bad, just what is going on there with snow and my conclusions about it for me self.fivat wrote:... while you were saying right before the event that the snow conditions were bad ...
It's not a secret for poeple here in capital Switzerland, that some locations in Valais can be critical about snow-high, even it's a nice part from Switzerland for holiday.
(See also Graphics (Picture 1) from WSL with deviation from longterm snow-high in Switzerland)
By the way, last Wednesday 05-12-2007, I was going powder-snowboarding, running the hole day off-Piste, no contact with any stones! Checking the photos at home, there was a black slope on a right lower edge on it (Picture 2, Shutter-Time: 11:55 h). It don't know the steepness, but probably it's also usefull for EC - well equalized, snow-high: 150 cm @1900. Well, no reasons all around, to develop en extra shape for carving on this slope, thats very good for Swoard, they will stay unique!
Back to topic:
One other well known word is Soul-Carving.
Most time performed with long cruisers and soft hardboots or stiff softboots.
Poeple (there are some view on the slopes, it's a small scene) doing it, use often boards from Glissade (big gun 185/195), or Radical (Surf 180/195/222) or similar. (I'd never saw soul-carving poeple with Rad-Air Tankers, why?)
