IMHO, the price of Swoard is very reasonable. If you go e.g to BT, you find easily many boards, which are more expensive. Furthermore, as I need only one alpine, the price is not the most important factor.

Just my opinion, though :chinese:

Someone considering Swoard expensive? sounds silly, price is very reasonable, specially if one thinks what it gives to rider :bravo:

People think it's expensive 8O ??????

I think it's a normal price. When I see prices of 1000€ and more from other brands

Especialy when you see that the other manufactures are much bigger then Swoard...

Swoardteam: you sell a nice product with a good honoust price

No clue why Nils is starting this subject about price. Not mentioned in this topic, or do I not understand his remark :? Cmachine only asked about any experiences about this brand, to be precise the freecarve model.

But if we are just talking about prices here. The Swoard is just reasonably priced if you look what you can get with other brands for the same materials used for a board. Only the big brand F2 can massproduce boards for a cheaper price than all other brands and don't have the boards in three different flexes per length.

So I think we must go back to the question from cmachine: some one experiences with this brand (Radical Snowboards)?

ok sorry for the question

Post by nils » Sunday 18 November 2007, 2:54

i looked at their price and thought they were expensive...therefore wondered why i heard ( especially on bomber) that people thought we were selling an expensive board....Must be because the USD is low these days...
As for radical, My idea is that its strange to see board sell more expensive than a Swellpanik or miura swallowtail when the finish is far from comparable... Anything above 950-1000 euros is to me really strange to understand unless there is really something to justify the price...
I assume the quality of radical boards is good anyway, because they are in the business for a looooong time and wouldnt be there still if the quality was not there..

I rode the Radical Freecarver 159 for an hour on a test day. But changing from Softboots to Hardboots, I couldn't remember exactly how this Raceboard was to ride.

Radical, are good boards and comes usualy with a softer flex then others and are easy to carve.
Cause of double Triax Carbon layers, they have a hard torsional stiffness.
They have a high quality level.

You can find them in store e.g. by Sport Plausch Wider in Wallisellen.
You can test the Board on December 8. 2007 at the Hoch-Ybrig!

(Tests: 13.10.-2.12.2007 The Box SaasFee, Yesterday in Laax, 16.12.2007 St.Moritz, 25.12.2007 Lenzerheide, 13.01.2007 Les Diablerets and on the WorldCarving-Session Davos.
Gliding on Snowboards,
like Pogo, Kessler, Virus, Hot, Nidecker and others,
from 151 up to 183 cm and 14 to 27.4 cm width,
covering any kind of shapes with
any kind of boots and bindings.

Two of my friends ride this boards, very well finished. I also talked to the owner before, quite a nice guy.
I even had their printed catalogue for 2007/2008 :D

Their topsheet is really nice looking but otherwise i can't tell how the boards perform, my friends say that they are good but who wouldn't if you spent this much on a board ;)

They have testing weekends, look at their homepage for the dates.
