binding setup for RS

Post by hera » Monday 12 November 2007, 23:15

Hi,

I'm a bit confused about binding setup on RS. As far as I know the bindings should be centered in the middle of the contact lenght. But it seems that the middle of contact lenght doesn't match the middle of TCS embossed on the top of the board - F2.RS.173.07/08. Of course binding holes are centered on TCS.
Do you have any suggestion about this setup?

i have a f2 rs 183cm - i had the same problem with the setup of the bindings. i asked a former rider from the austrian boarder team, he suggested to set the bindings as far back as possible, since the soft nose likes to dig into softer snow.. well i tried it and i must say that it works great for me.

Indeed, middle of contact lenght it's closer to the nose 5-6 cm than center of TCS (I don't remeber and my gear is at the office :D). I will try follow contact lenght and see how will work.
Thanx
