Hybrid boot DEELUXE Freezone Pro 07/08

Hello

I like to hear if someone has seen/tryed deeluxe hybrid boots. How is it compared to suzuka/indy and skiboots in stifnes, etc.

Try to have a look at Raichle ski shoes site... This is a ski shoe, I remember Raichle were producing a modification of snowboard Track 325 shoes for skiers a few years ago. Stiffness should be lower than that of both Indy and Suzuka.

hm. I saw a pair in the Goltes shop in Ljubljana.

actually I didn't test them and didn't try the stiffness... But they seemed good quality boots... about the same as T325 or T225, with the 5 point forward lean mechanism (...it can be also seen in your photo)
but with that big ski-heel and toe


the length of the sole should not be a big problem with "fat" extremecarving boards... (even though - to prevent boot overhang - one should use higher binding angles than those suggested by the producer)

I think they should be great for easy skiing and little Hiking, but wouldn't use them for skiing onslope (not stiff enough laterally) or snowboard carving (too long compared to real snowboard boots).

If you wan't a cheap and great boot for skiing get a Raichle Flexon whith which you can hike too, and use them once in a while for snowboarding.

I have them in stock at alpinepunk.com. They are same dimensions as 325 etc etc and work perfect for snowboarding and randonee/ easy carvingskis. To soft for hard pist riding thou. If you have kids and need to ski sometimes and just want one pair it´s a good compromise. BUT they are not INTEC compatible and they give a bit more overhang than snowboard boots.

Thanks for your replys, but i think its clear that those arent stiff as skiboots and onpistskiing is not their strongest point.

So i think its too much compromise to my skiing, and i think i keep two boots.

Personatly, I ride ski and snowboard with my Deeluxe Indy (the orange one). I'm use to ski with them and find that it works well. I use them for skiing about one or two weeks pro years and also one or two weeks to carve with my snowboard.

When I buy them, my reflexion was that alpin boots are stiff enougth to ride ski. And the Indys are real stiff with the original spring ! I didn't wanted to buy two pairs because of the price.

I'm glad with my choice.

One option might be Indys and BTS combination. Having softer spring for boarding and stiffer for sking.
With BTS changing spring is very fast and easy

Just a skiboot................ with some more forwardflex as a normal skiboot.

Franck, how do you fast your indy to skibindings?
Do bindings release if needed?

I have now suzukas and BTS. Yellow and blue springs.
