It will fade away as soon as the snow is falling and we only are concerned how we can finance this way of living, cause that's what this sport is/means to me. People with a high criticism will always be around. So am I. Don't make a fuss about it, because it's less than one percent of the community. Just concentrate on what you are liking the most.

Of course you/we/I have an (own) opinion what VIRUS (Frank) or SWOARD or any other brand do/say/act because they earn money and it was my money I paid them, so they will be criticised on their product and (professional)behavior. That's a good thing, therefore they stay sharp by its customers. I am glad that they, the customers and the snowboardbrands, are around otherwise I couldn't take part in this community. So criticism will always be part of it, also the negative things. Make negative things positive, it's an opportunity. And stop being tired about it. It won't help you, just put it in a positive perspective

Just enough for now, for this never ending interesting topic.

agreed...
and we will soon have to stand together to fight something that is going to harm the whole community if it happens.... we will need all forces, all countries, all goodwill and all of the internet power to make it happen and save an important part of our community.

This said: lets look ahead and get ready for the future combat....please stop useless posts trying to harm other members of the community. I understand there can be questions, but there are ways to ask them... for example in that last case: instead of saying zylon is weak under the sun and boards made with it could break, why not have asked: "i wonder if it really harms snowboards made with it, and how the problem is solved...."

Sorry, you did not get my point.
Of course critics are a way to improvement. Even more, critics can be a kind of commendation (if I don't expect somebody to be able to improve, I will not critisize).

But I was talking about this thread, not the other one. It's about goals and the spirit, about together and against each others. I appreciate your positive thinking, but it does not make things better ;)

I know what you mean about the spirit and so on. I am not referring to another post/topic, just mentioned two brands and the provocing minds here...... I just see it in a perspective. I know Professor Schneewurm is provocing and is not fond of a certain brand/person. And in a way I don't hang on to his way of writting either. May be has has a point, but what Nils already told us and I tried to explain, say it in another way or just take out the points which are positive to you. Not everybody is positive or/and good with words. Or are meaning it otherwise, than they are writting.

Beginning of August I was faced with the question if Zylon degrades through the visible top sheet of the Ultimate series Virus boards or not. My opinion was that it is better to cover the zylon with a black coating.
In an extended and fruitful discussion Frank explained me the layers covering the Zylon and their UV protection properties. My following investigations proved this.
So I decided to buy a Gladiator Zylon with the standard top sheet.
No I´am so glad to ride this awesome board for hopefully the next 3-4 seasons. Then I expect fatigue of the board.

@Schneewurm: I´am disappointed that you did not explain the complete truth about Zylon especially within this extremecarving forum. Either you are not well informed (internet does not help in any situation) or you intend to harm the "racial" divide between the hardboot families further. I´am not sure.
Hope just first said. And hope to meet you at the WCS.
