Hehe.. still got two of these babies at home.. mine are from '94 or 95', but with different design.. as far as I remember this one is younger than mine, presumably from '96.
Cannot help you with specs, only with a general description. The Concept was at that time the one-for-all-freecarver, highly recommended for everyone except professional racers. Quite expensive. Very turny. Even used it for off-piste-riding and kept mine for this purpose when I bought me a Nidecker extreme.

Should get a good place in the snowboard museum.

How is this possible. I can have riding satisfaction on all of my boards. More on some of them though, but why should a board, which was great some years ago be grap now?

Uhm... not in general.. but there's one thing about asymmetrical boards:
first you've got to get accustomed to them.. and then you've got to get accustomed to "normal" boards when you switch back..

It's different to ride an asy.. you gotta learn to shift your weight back and forth from backside to frontside.. i wouldn't say worse, but different...

its different but its sooooo good
F2 WC beamer was sooo good, such as the PJ and Lacroix Eagle Race... a Fav freecarver was the Freesurf Mustang...

I'm looking for a white Beamer WC and a Eagle Race btw

regular and in good shape!

Nononono!
Asy has been created to AVOID such shift!

From a frontside carve you have just to pull your toes up and you are already centered on the heels, since the edge is shifted to avoid your shifting!

Concerning this, asy is much more comfortable to ride.
I agree with you if you say "they are different things between asy and sym" but... if you have to shift something, you have to do it on the symmetrical board, not on the asy one!

You're completely and absolutely right.. of course.. I've already been waiting for sb. to correct me..
Please forgive me my tendency to keep things simple..

The result is the same.. we are accustomed to shift the weight without noticing it, so on an asy it would feel like we'd have to start shifting our weight..

I'm curious if there was really a point in making asys.. when you look at it: do you think you'd be able to go deep with this one?
Gotta fetch mine from the cellar and give it a few rides...

Yeah, Beamer was a reference! I've never had one though. Being student at that time we rode local brand boards - that do not exist anymore.

This Nidecker concept was from 96/97. A good overall fun board but a little nervous on the edge.

@Nils an Ohawa. The white Beamer was imho the only really lousy board I have ever ridden. At the same time i owned the great Burton PJ 164 from 1993 which was a blast in comparison to the Beamer. I remember the complete name was F2 WC Beamer. The WC did not stand for Worldcup but for Water Closet.

Good old times. I remember when the Nitro Scorpion has brought a Renaissance for symmetrical Raceboards. I still have one in my cellar (95/96).

I think the name was "F2 Beamer TCS" and I find very strange that you classify it as a Water Closet...
It has been known as a very good board...

Yes, indeed we talk about the Nidecker concept.

Nevertheless. The WC Beamer was from 94/95 and white. There was also a carbon edition in black. Both were lousy boards.
