I know it's a personal preferance but for those who have such a system:
what is your weight and whitch springs do you use for toe as for heelside?

On Bombersite they say:

Medium (Blue) Springs: Medium to heavy weight riders who want a firmer flexing boot

I think I want those but what is medium or heavy weight? Something like my +-78kg?

Boots

Post by Hans » Friday 26 October 2007, 20:06

Depends which boots and liners you use and how stiff you want your set up. If you are a hardcore racer, I assume you want it as stiff as possible.

So give me some more input please so may be I can help you out.

78kg should be mid spring, blu?
Me, 82kg, but powerless rides, on soft yellows
Or to be excat, either on yellow standards or extra long green ones, which are somewhere between yellow and blue ones

Mmh, seems that even heavier guys prefer the yellow ones.

Hans,

I have a raichle AF600, original liner. Previous ECS, I putted the 5 position system loose but that felt way to soft.
My other boots were Burton reactor's and when I putted it's springsystem on walk, it felt pretty good.

I weigh 84 kgs and had the yellow ones on my former Suzuka's. Than they feel soft. If you want something firmer go for the blue ones. For the short spring I should take the yellow anyway because the range it can flex, is very little.

What I use

Post by Fin » Wednesday 7 November 2007, 2:36

Erik,

Of course my official disclaimer is that we are all different and it just depends on what you want. We have huge, heavy guys who love the yellow (soft) and we have super light weight guys on the reds (hard). I would say style is more the determining factor.

That said I run the yellow on the toe side and Blue (medium) on the heel side. I like a softer forward flew but wanted a bit more firmness on the heel side. It does take a while to find that "sweet spot" with all the adjustability of the system but once you do, oh la la! Oh I weight 70.3 kg and am 185.4cm tall (198cm with the afro) :D

If you have any other question son it, please let me know and I will help out as much as I can.

Cheers!
Fin

Anyone who wears the crocs knows it, trimming it with the Jibbitz charms is a must!

After choosing the right BTS springs for best flex feeling, You should focus to the more important thing of personification Your boot spring system, just a unique trim possibility on BTS (Bomber Industries US) of all springsystem on hardboots on the market!
Look at the samples on picture below!

It`s engineered for a Deeluxe/Raichle boots (not for every Raichle - see BOL to learn more), according leaflet in the box. But you can try.
