Virus wants to offer his customers boards that are custommade to the riders weight in a class A construction (carbon/kevlar composite with full ash woodcore) The knowledge of building EC boards and knowledge about building prototypes is out of question! The EC technique is also not a secret. So why should be the Virus not as good or better than the new Swoard. Nidecker boards are well known for weak construction in the past, only the future will show if its as good like praised from P.J.N.!
Please always remember the boards are not killed by the good rider they are killed by the unskilled and beginners!
The Virus is not a copy!!!! its different to the 2D, its more versatile and gives much more edgegrip and dampening!
Why should the Swoard only be copied if you have all that knowledge and experience, it wouldn´t make sense!
Riding the Extreme on a slope like the Barth..... in Zinal is not a big problem for a skilled rider.
Yes it´s steep and its a black slope. But it´s wide and perfect groomed!
For a skilled rider its definetly not a problem.
Push-Pull, and if you use the width of the slope, gravity will make the rest to go deep and handling the speed over the radius of the turns is also not a problem.
It becomes more difficult if you have e few people around.
I would prefer a test of both boards is the easiest and fairest way to give customers a chance to get the best for their money!
If the new Swoard is a good and durable the announced it should be not a problem to have a test together!
However, obviously with your id, it seems that you have a certain agenda and are more biased then necessary and it seems that you enjoy provoking people. Although such technique is an acceptable debating skill, several of your comments also show that you're perhaps more immature than majority of people in this community.
I've been reading some of your comments and it seems very obvious that you probably never ridden either swoard or virus extremecarver or more probably both. Your comment is hardly based on YOUR experience, whereas people such as cmachine contributed much more positively to the debate by ACTUALLY testing it.
And P & J never said that the new swoard is better than virus extremecarver.
Rather than whining in this forum, which is wasting everyone's time, why don't you head to the slope and enjoy the snow?
I definately sure that I have ridden both boards and know what I´m speaking about! P.J.N. definatly not.
The new one I don´t have ridden but that´s what I wrote!
Its definatly not the fact that I love to provoking poeple, I only want to remember 3 guys not to throw with stones when they know they are sitting in a house of glass!
I they stop their unfair announcement, I will stop provoking!
The statement of cmachine is now more than 2 years old, let him try the new board from Virus!
You and everybody else can ride what he likes most, but everybody should have to choose to get what he likes most and that fair!

IF YOU HAVE RIDDEN BOTH BOARD, then post a review, like cmachine!
I mean, if you know so much about two boards as to know that these 3 guys are saying BS, then you should enlighten us.
Firsst of all, what generation and model of swoard have you ridden? How many days have you used it?
About virus extreme carver, what length, and what weight did you order it, or if you've just tested it, what kind of flex did the board have?
What was the main difference between these two boards?
Cmachine et al. left a good review, now I suppose it's your turn now, if you have ridden both. Your tone suggest you know much about these two boards, then you probably are qualified to post a detailed review of both boards. C'mon.
Nils,
i am not sure that this forum is the right place for racism like this. I personally think that this sentence needs to be moderated as it is far beyond the limit.
ewi: i moderated your answer because ( and this is the same for all the posts in this topic)
- We are not going to discuss the past anymore with what happened: its past and history. We made a statement, we turned a page: be it.
- We are not into a war and we will NOT accept anyone getting crazy... as stated, its fair to compete with fair test ( cmachine example is a fine example) rather than ideas that have no fact behind...Virus1 compared the 2d gen with the new virus...so maybe he can tell us what are the differences on the snow... the last generation is also different so he will have to test that one too..
I agree to most of his last post: yes its easy to EC on flat groomed slopes even steep...(but no one pretended it was hard)...the problem there is actually is only 2 riders worldwide can pretend to do EC good enough to put the boards at their limits... a lot can do EC, but we are yet to see a movie with someone do the same on another board..It does not mean the virus board is bad it just means its different and hasnt been made by us.
- for the others too: we are grown ups and if we cant behave and write with our brains and good sense, then i will moderate what is brutal answers.. a good advice is read the topic, react without writing, go walking for a while then come back and write.., and last but not least:
I moderated the last sentence especially: Ewi you are not helping anyone by using racist words against germans or any other people... and if anyone starts this again he will be banned for good by me I dont care! I am personnaly very concerned about building europe and believe in german-french friendship since i first learned about europe as a kid... this is the same for all europe AND rest of the world it means we will not accept anything race, religion, and social attacks...
I dont understand what all this has to be with the thema of all those Post... The first title was : Swoard future > excellent news and 3rd generation!"
Wy dont you all make a new site called "extremefighting.com" or "extremestupid.com"... The site where all extremcarving fan can spit on all marks they hate or just to pissoff all the other.
Finaly, perhaps one solution is just to ignore and pass by all messages from all hackler like Virus 1 (i dint read everything from him... but it seems to be more a agitator lover than a real fan of snowboarding).
Wise words Nils, only you, me and some others did feed this/put some extra oil on the fire with a so called new board the Glad I.........r. So may be we can stop this so called jokes also.
And discuss only the things that makes sense here: fun in snowboarding and some healthy, sharp discussions about the new Swoard and some healthy comparisons with other wide boards like COILER, VIRUS, DONEK, GOLTES and other not named brands which are gonna make wide carveboards too.
As you proposed to me we can start an extra head forum to give an opinion about the riding characteristics on the boards we own so every one could have benefit from it.
It's nice to see other brands follow the success of Swoard so we buyers have more things to chose from. Keep up the good work and let us burry the hatchet.
