Fabrication artisanale

Post by oliv » Wednesday 26 September 2007, 16:51

1. core making with ash wood
2. various images of the press, silkscreen work blablah
3. core profiling (thickness = flexes) note that the sidewalls are already glued, and are profiled at the same time
4. edge bending and board assembly ( gluing edges on base, reinforcements on nose and tail etc)
5. adding triax fiberglass, rubber layer ( i think its rubber and not carbon) for bonding the titanal topsheet
6. pressing
7.finishes

nils
: amazing work and great skis too: very goor reputation on the snow, but not for babies :) they are meant for strong fast riders from what i heard
quantitites: unknown but i'd say around 500 units.
