Here is the first picture of a
Swoard Extremecarver from the
3rd generation (there in size 168) for the
season 2007-2008
Note the brilliant top sheet! The Swoard team loves it, but: inevitably, the rear foot slides very easily on the board when you are on the lift. Some pads are thus necessary. If you would prefer a grainy-mat (and not sliding) top sheet, you should tell it by
voting above!

In function of your reactions, we have 1-2 weeks left for changing this before starting the stock production!
The picture was shot last Sunday on the glacier of Saas Fee, at 3500m! Your dear Swoard team (specialist and inventor of extremecarving

) has spent a good part of his summer up there, as perfectionists. Jacques Rilliet, our shaper-rider guru, has really done a super job of development with the factory and
on the snow: the first prototypes appeared excellent, as well in normal turns as in extremecarving.

But we have not hesitated to produce other prototypes (despite the costs!

), in sizes 168 and 175, to go still further than the 2nd generation in performances, finishing and solidity. This summer in the Alps was ideal to meet all the conditions we wanted for the tests: ice, hard snow, soft snow, fresh snow. However it's especially on the ice that one feels with more finesse the details and the performances of the boards...
