OUAH CA DECHIRE!
It's amazing what human kind can do

anyway GREAT to watch, it gives 'good vibrations'!
(Isn't the young French Guigui doing the same kind of sport?)
No kidding but are these guys using the push-pull technique??? Because If they do, I guess it would be a perfect way to train my EC backside...hey you have to do your very best to not fail in the big turn
BTW what about THEIR gloves..

polyglut?
Man, they are incredible..
They sure have skills.

Best i've seen so far.
I'm not sure they use push-pull... at least not all the time.
It's not necessarily the best way to train for EC, but it certainly wouldn't be useless... i'm mean, if you don't end in hospital.
Actually Guigui does actualy that when not on snow.
To be honest, when you do push-pull on these boards you can be sure to loose grip. As you can see they slide a lot.
To train for EC I feel Carveboard or Flexboardz to be more usefull ... and secure. Because these boards have what you would call edge-hold (from very good for the first to insane for the second) and they can angle (up to 45°) whereas longskates nearly don't angle at all... quiet problematic on backsides.
About gloves. Longskaters make theirs themselves. The mixed materials used can be wood, plastic from roadsign cones, plastic from butcher cutting boards, Plexiglass, or even Teflon.
Mine are made of plexiglass glued on gardening gloves, with leather gloves inside. Very comfy.
It wouldn't be good at all for winter because the sliding parts angles would catch snow on first contact. It works on asphalt because its hard and perfectly flat.
On the opposite polyglut wouldn't resist any contact with such an abrasive surface as asphalt is.
