That goofy comes from Ural mountains and his name is Vassiliy (just in case you meet him once agian).
Impressing indeed, especially given that he himself is 168cm tall

yes, it promoted quite some discussions at a particular russian forum. But apparently his style/personal preferences allow a certain sacrifice in freedom of movement to gain stability on a board. Especially on
that board (210 cmc SG if I'm not mistaken)

Unfortunately choosing Tignes in place of Sölden is a bad idea, infact there isn't snow only 40 cm of ice!!!

and the best side of every slope was reserved by many ski teams

moreover no life and girls in the night
now i'm sure... is Sölden the place for the next november!

This 168cm carver and this 210 board are incredible
I wonder what is this carving style he likes so much

(no turns?)he's 2cm shorter than me but I would never imagine myself on one of those...

As I remember Vasiliy said
1) he have some problems with his back (spine)
and such stance (57,5 cm) is the best for him
2) he like steeps and speed (so it's 210)
and it’s more comfortable for him the lower position
with wide stance on board

It will depend on the snow conditions, as always.
For Swoard too.
Let's pray for more snow than the preceding seasons

If SWOARDS will be made by an Austrian manufacturer: Du you think, that there will be the chance to test a SWOARD generation III in Sölden in November?

Don't count on an Austrian manufacturer. Local is better
I'm sure PJN will announce their decision on here first once it has ben done and knowing for sure that this time it is a real great manufacturer who understands their/our needs.

Since a view years I usualy turned My focus in November to hiking in the mountains, not to snowboarding (well known now a days as glacier-rockboarding!)
Have a look at My own database with official snow-values from several ski areas:
Laax 3018 (Glacier)
23.11.1998 180 cm
20.11.1999 60 cm
19.11.2000 150 cm
24.11.2001 120 cm
24.11.2002 350 cm
22.11.2003 100 cm
20.11.2004 30 cm
26.11.2005 35 cm
25.11.2006 30 cm

24.11.2001 120 cm
24.11.2002 350 cm
22.11.2003 140 cm
20.11.2004 35 cm
26.11.2005 20 cm
25.11.2006 0 cm (closed, snow is missing)

Engelberg 3028 (Glacier)

20.11.1999 200 cm
19.11.2000 120 cm
24.11.2001 220 cm

Well, world climate is on change, accelareted by everybodys accelerator in his car (pollution of Co-2), but perhaps this late autumn, there will be an climate-anomaly and more snow will fall. Probable outside of Switzerland in the EU, they will stay in an other climate-zone! So good luck for snow in Soelden!
