ECS'06: demo boards that could be sold directly!

At the end of meeting ECS'06, it will be possible to buy some demo boards SWOARD 1st generation!

The price, VAT included, will be only:
- 350 Euros (540 CHF): boards in very good state, without blemish (of manufacture)
- 300 Euros (460 CHF): boards in good state
- 250 Euros (380 CHF): boards in average state

In theory we will not sell boards in bad state, but according to the request we could yield one or two of them at the price of 200 Euros (310 CHF).

Payment cash and invoice made at Zinal! Thus think of taking money!

Here is what could be sold:
- 175H: 1 board
- 175M: 2 boards
- 175S: 1 board
- 168H: 1 board (reserved to Olivier Fronton)
- 168M: 2 boards
- 168S: ---
- 161H: ---
- 161M: 1 board (reserved to Arnaud's cousin)

Hard to say > hans will maybe be able to check then.
Basically the boards were demo when there was a factory glueing problem. Most of them had a delam issue that was reglued in the mold after the first glueing. I rode my 175M with the same problem ( mostly cosmetic difference) almost 80 days so far and the board is still perfect besides now thinner edges because i have sharpen it a bit too much...). We have had no warranty cases with the reglued boards we sold at the time with a reduced price!

Another cause for going demo was a few air bubbles that occured in the mold under the base. I repaired all those bubbles myself by injecting resing under the base and then reflatening the base. A few of the demos are from this serie.

Then comes the fact that the demos have for some cases seen 2 ECS ( no stones) and a few more days riding... we can estimate the average riding time on each demo less than 10 days.

Each board is different, so you have to see by yourself in which shape they are.

I would like to reserve the best demo 175m. Is it okay if I leave it up to you guys to decide witch one that is?
Hans agreed to transport it to the Netherlands for me. I wired him the money so he can pay the board there.

I don't want to burden Hans with negotiating the price so I'll just pay 350 for it. (unless Patrice decides otherwise)

I'm interested in a 168M demo. I think this would be the only one which suits to me (63kg / 170cm), but I like it a little bit stiffer.

Since I never rode a Swoard I first want to test and then decided if I really take it.

Im not to worried about warrenties, 40 days on snow would be over 5 years for me.

..Btw When are the 3d boards going to be availible and how much are these going to be? I might just save up for one for next year

3D boards are not going to come out until further notice....We are concentrating on the 2D board, and as you can see in some feedbacks, the board is already top end for what it is designed for . So 3D are not really needed, unless we come up with different materials that add performance to the board, which is already a huge challenge!

Picked up my Swoard from Hans this weekend, and it looks great. Just a few scraches, and a small crack on the nose, but that's repaired fine.
So now its time to give it a test run..........
