Anyone planing come to Zinal before session officially starts for some extra practice runs without audience ?
I'l be there well before session starts. If weather is good and there is more folks some pre-session filming is possible

And as reminder

i will be filming mainly riders with helmets
So any person riding without helmet, there is no way to get that ride for your personal review, i will tape over all rides without helmet.
So start looking for helmets NOW !
This is my personal support for general safety of carvers

Hello Pokkis...
as you might have expected, I'm on the slopes with a helmet this year *LOL*. But decision was not depending on your suggestion, but on pure rationality. Nevertheless funny UMHO

I bought a helmet (Alpina Scarp in Black/white) just before my trip to Ischgl/Galtür the last weekend and wore it three days.
I love it, now I am having a warm head.
The helmets are so light that they do not trouble you while boarding.
So buy one now and be filmed like me...

Excellent, that'll please the wife, she was just saying she didn't want anybody filming her boarding technique!
Doh! I'll have to dig out my old skate board helmet then.
We will be on the snow from Fri 10th.
Cheers.

Please note this helmet limitation is for my filming
Filming organized by EC crew might work according different principles

Pokkis, I think your initiative works quite well.... it even made me buying a helmet.... have to admit the last weekend in Nassfeld I had a fall that also contributed to this decision.... I missed the slope, went out to the moguls, hitting the first one immediately became airborne, landed first on the back of my head, then my butt, then found myself sitting. 2 seconds later goggles and hat arrived. Then I realised that I'm sitting on the tracks of the t-bar..... fortunately no-one used it at that moment.... then everything started to hurt.
So let's try it in a helmet....
Cheers,
István

Maybe more than a helmet you need giving up drinking while boarding....

Don't quite get where you are trying to get to...

but have to say that when this accident happened I was dry as the desert..... we were only heading to the bar and I wanted to make it as fast as I could...
Did I already tell you that I have an Italian friend who after quite a few rounds (drinks) + at least 5 lemoncellos thought that the slope was a super G slope and started to race? U know that guy?
Ciao,
István

I'm planning to be on the slopes also Thursday and Friday for a bit of advance practise

. Maybe Wednesday afternoon too (bus gets in at 12:22).
Which are the main slopes we will be riding on Saturday, Sunday and Monday?
