No spot for me!
I'd be happy to respond to your poll but, at age 59, the choice isn't there!
A similar poll was conducted on bomberonline.com. See: http://www.bomberonline.com/VBulletin/s ... hlight=age

Young riders
Suslik wrote:Thank you very much, but why there are only 2 riders younger than 20 years?
There are many many possible explanations. For example:Arnaud wrote:Because most of young rider use soft boots, I think.
- Alpine stuff is more expensive than freestyle stuff
- Teenagers have no money. Parents prefer to buy cheap boards and boots.
- Teenagers are influenced a lot by marketing.
- Marketing always focuses on the "liberty" image (freeride in powder) and the big jumps (freestyle), which requires soft boots.
- Teenagers wish to be like their friends, with the same stuff, and to look cool (soft boots are comfortable for walking). They have no idea how alpine can be cool
- Most people still think that the hard boots we use are ski boots!
- etc.
There are a few teen hardbooter on my local hill, all in racing program. The couple I talked to, it's still new to them and they either don't have internet access, and if they do don't care about hanging out on forum (and probably even less incline to answer polls!!). One did say that his dad hangs out on Bomberonline.

It will be very interesting to ride with 13-15 years riders from russia for me
...But, how i see , it is not possible to ride with people of my age
... im only 13 years and 1 month old, so my hardboot friends are 10-15(as min) years elder than i...
