Jakob wrote:A dumb question perhaps, but still better to be stupid for five minutes than remain stupid for the rest of your life: did I get this right or are there two lines of F2 titanium bindings: "ordinary" and race? I don't mean step-in and classic, but design/material? And what is Titanflex? Any breakages so far anyone?
Thanx,
Jakob
In brief:
- Race Titanium are standard bindings with toe and heal bails
- (intec) Titanium, what it says, it's the stepinproduct of the binding
mentioned before.
- Titanflex are the Intec Titanium (stepins) with some more height through rubber disks beneath/under the binding.(under the toes and heel of the binding).
Greets, Hans.

If you decide to go for Cateks you won't be sorry. I have a pair and love the stiffnes and posibilities of adjusting.
but the only problem I had was that I didn't tighten up all the screws enough so the plate started rotating on the base and wore out those small holes on the base. so I'll say again: TIGHTEN all the screws as strons as you can, especialy the main one!
