Yes, Fin sent me a test prototype this summer.
This damper is added to the standard one. This raises the binding a little bit (about 5 mm).

Riding this setup is incredibly comfortable and the board is still very precise. The weight of the binding increases a bit making the the overall board slightly less maneuvrable.
IMHO, this is a comfort compromise. But when I say comfort I mean extraordinary comfort! So comfortable that ice becomes soft and nice to ride!

I love the last sentence on the Bomber page:
The TD2 Suspension Kit is ONLY to be used with the TD2 snowboard binding. It is NOT a universal system for all bindings. Using on any other binding then the TD2 can and may cause injury or death to the rider.
