Glove protection

Post by harald » Monday 18 April 2005, 9:20

Hi,
Here I try again showing my solution to the glove protection problem. Now, when the shops have begun to sell inliner equipment you might take the opportunity to buy protectors such as Salomon Gel, Crazy Creek or other brands that offer both sliding and palm/wrist protection.

I would take my chance in Aldi or Lidl! (supermaket)
http://www.aldi.com and http://www.lidl.com
Because sometimes, they are selling these things! (a few weeks ago here in belgium, you could buy knee, elbow en these wristprotecters for 9,99€)
If you take a wristprotector from salomon (gel) that will cost you around 20€
Or perhaps ebay?

I'm a student, so every euro counts

The brand does not matter that much to me, they were only examples. As long as the protectors give good protection of wrists and gloves you can buy them anywhere. If you can find them at aldi or lidl at reasonable prices, its even better.

This is the procedure:
1. buy a pair of rubber gloves (some kind of work gloves), normally they are green or darl blue
2. cut the fingers (about 2-3 cm.)
3. thread the snowboard glove inside the rubber glove

just try and let me know
:D

I guessed something like this; but was not sure if it was rubber from workink-gloves
