The only thing that worries me is the cost and the shipping.
Is it really worth it??

Just emailed Michel, not possible to buy those parts seperated :( :(
So, I ordered a new Ti binding for my new Coiler.

Sorry, I think they are nice people, but the costs of the TI design has to be earned back. It's just business, I can understand them. By the way that Gold Digger looks very nice :bravo:

If you ever break a TI bail, I would hope that Bomber sells you the bail separately and not need to buy the entire TI binding again.

Hacking the system

Post by István » Tuesday 8 March 2005, 9:38

Yep, valid point. So one of us has to buy a TiD2, and then he/she can order us parts... :-)

Cheers.

If I'm not mistaken, TD2 and TiD2 have a 5 year warranty :D , so they won't be selling those parts in the period of 5 years but rather replace them free of charge. :D

And I doubt they'll send spare parts a couple of times without wanting a broken part for inspection...

Still very tempted by TiD2...

Bye,

Jakob

Guys,

I had the opportunity to test the Ti bails this summer.
They are incredibly light: like a plastic part. But they are not stronger than the standard ones.

Frankie,
Yes, the yellow pads are the best with the Swoard because they are the softer ones. They allow more liberty on the board, what helps to ride in a smooth style. In fact, softer pads would be even better.

Jacques, does that mean that you have bent them?

No, but I didn't trie them during a long time.
At the ECS I saw someone who broke a rear bail.

Patrice,
Then what are the bindings in the market with more fiability, or what are you using today?

My bindings this season

F2 Race Titanium (standard, not the Intec model).

I'm going to post a review about this model in French, and will traduce it in English tomorrow ;-)

This season I will also use Bomber TD2 bindings that Jacques has tuned. It's a lot of work :-( The F2 is comfortable and ideal for extremecarving (except on very hard or icy snow, conditions for which Bomber is superior). No tuning needed.
