I started my alpine riding during season 2005/6 on a second hand F2 GTS 163.
For season 2010/11 I moved to F2 Silberpfeil 163 model 2007.
On January 2019 I bought a second hand F2 Sielberpfeil 169 model 2007 again.
I find the longer one to be far better in any condition, easy to lay down on steep slope, excellent grip on icy snow, good control on flat slope when speed increases (if you don't increase speed you are definitely hit by some reckless skier falling down with no control).
I would now consider to buy something younger than 13 years, it might be another F2 SP (which model?) or something else, keeping in mind that I am south side of the Alps where I often face hardpack , icy and artificial snow. Excellent grip is highly appreciated.
I am thinking of a second hand Doneck REV 170, bad idea? I am on a budget thus I do not consider 1000€ boards...
I am 1.71, 72 kg, boots 25.5 and 64 years old, but I try to forget this last part
