already got a dear wife and three kids... so its not my wedding, but am going there for the good food!
But it also means i'm getting organized for the 1st or 2d of july (depending on the weather)

Good advice for those who never rode a glacier in july: bring the best and most powerfull sunscreen you can find ( eg 100 or more )and minimum grade 3 sunglasses ( 4 is best ( glacier sunglasses). Because snow ophtalmia as we call it here are often seen there!

The tour de france is passing right by on the 11th and 12th. Traffic will be horrendous and accomodations will be impossible.

I'll be there watching the race and we are planning to camp because there are no hotels available.

I am planning to come up on saturday since friday night i have to be at a birthday party. Thus I will warm up on saturday morning and hopefully do some serious riding on sunday.

conditions on the glacier will have to be checked carefully since the weather is pretty hot since a few weeks, and way above season average. We have 35 °C for the last three days in the valleys 1 hour from the mountains....not a good sign for the glaciers and for the quality of the snow.....

I will be on the les2alpes glacier on sunday july 3rd and possibly on monday as well (although my right forearm has been badly damaged by carving with a long sleeve t-shirt that had rolled up on Tonale last week end...).

THe news I have from the conditions makes me cancel the day there, and I also have lots to do before going to Virus Factory next week! Sorry Guys but its for the 2D production, and we are already late!! Choices have to be made here between riding and production hehe

I'm driving there tuesday early so will be there for lunch tuesday. I'll leave wednesday evening I guess or thursday very early depending of the tireness conditions! Would be fun to have dinner tuesday if not too far from you!
