CONSHOXX on Swoard?
J just checked katsunori pray to swoard and got surprised by the conshoxx on it!!!
It might be a good thing to add stability on Ice. (Yesterday I tried Istav EC Virus, and, like my silberpfeil, it is more stable than my Swoard.., so some added stiffness could be helpful).
What do you guys think?
PS
Does anyone know where I can buy the conshoxx?

I use swoard 168M.
I bought conshox, because I feel my swoard is soft in soft snow condishon.
Now(added conshox) , feel is so good.

Conshox use
As Katsunori mentioned; the conshox 'might' be a help on softer flexed Swoards in the very soft snow condition.... On harder snow, its useless since you want to have a soft board to hold and edge vertically on the snow!
Nils
PS: guess who invented the conshox...? Virus looong ago, and it got stolen from F2... You can still order virus conshox i think> contact frank at virus!
But i'm not sure it will improve anything on a swoard...

Nils,
I tried Istvan EC Virus. It seemed to be much easier to turn and stable on ice. Is it all in the camber? Or is it because my 175 M is much softer than the virus?
PS
I still wouldn't change board and I was beating him on speed though...despite that he's much heavier than I am...

Re: CONSHOXX on Swoard?
Silber,
Actually I'd like to have a 175H instead, since I prefer the responsiveness of a stiffer board, and also because the slopes generally is quite hard at Dundret. Actually, I disagree with Nils on the fact that a softer board is better on hard slopes. My experience is that a soft board performs better in softer conditions and the other way around in hard conditions.
Simply put, use the swoard in the morning runs, when the slopes are in good condition, and then change to your GS board for the final blasts.
Katsunori-san, I'm curious about how the conshoxx is performing with the swoard in hard and icy conditions! What is your impression?
Roger
This weekend I spent at Dundret and I got the opportunity to ride my speedster(RS 183). The edge grip was fantastic on the less than perfectly groomed slope, and I could feel the board remained stable at higher speeds compared with my 175M.Silber wrote:What do you guys think?

That in the soul which is called the mind is, before it thinks, not actually any real thing.

Mr. Roger.
Sorry , hard and icy conditions are not clear.
I feel normal board is soft for me , in soft snow conditions.
normal board's bend is a little too much at push the board during carving in soft snow.
harder slope limit is not clear , because slope is different day by day , or place.
a lot of factor relation carving.
board,speed,stance,snow condition,weighting,edge,slope degrees...
I'can not found the best one for icy conditions.
conshox is not 'dramatic' good efect for icy conditions. Add little harder.
(and add little heavy. vibration are unknown)
I think the best one for icy conditions are own style.
your riding style is excellent , roger.

Francesco,
I just got back from my business trip and I see that you are spreading the rumour that you can beat me in speed, not to mention the thing about my weight.
Well, I'm trying to remember that day in Colfosco, but as far as I can remember there were also cases when I took over. Not to mention the number of poles you killed...
As for the Conshox, I still have it on my Silberpfeil, but not willing to sell
after all these
.
See you next time in Italy - it was a really great fun!!!
Cheers,
István

Istvàn,

Too bad u weren't with me this weekend in Verbier...
Hope to see u soon tough..we did really have a lot of fun (and maybe too much alcol).

Fun
As for the alcohol, the biggest fun was, when after some high-speed straight-line chasing (actually on a blueish slope) I took over you, then I started to loose speed and then when the board stopped I just felt due to the total lack of sense of balance....
Cheers,
Istvan
ps.: I still don't know how you managed to get those two poles with the flag out of the snow...
