You mean toe-side turn. This is actually a backside turn in surfing lingo, as Kelly 's back is to the wave.fluke wrote:

In surfing, the wave determines the frontside or the backside. If the surfer is facing the wave it is a frontside turn which means a heel-side turn, You see this in the opening of the video.
