thanks for your gpx. Unfortunately the 2 second period is too long an interval to cope with snowboard turns : we need a one second period to get a realistic centrifugal torke computation. Anyway, with this settings, GPSAR gives about 4.5m/s^2 lateral accelaration, wich means half of one G (half of your body weight).
I'm looking forward to get a gps with one second setting, and improving my carving turns to see how much this value can be !

So are you saying you can calculate your G-forces in each turn using a gps? How does that work. Please explain you previous post in a bit more detail. That is fascinating. Could this be used to determine the quality of your turns?

It's a pretty cool device. They have different ones for different sports, and the skiing device even does skiing time only which is cool. It's a bit expensive though and has the GPS downside of limited coverage in the trees. Saw this in a rewiew recently, "The timing feature could be improved, as it is the GPS can take up to 80 seconds to get a sat fix and you cannot use it unit this has happened. "
Relating to my previous post, I don't believe the device does g-forces either, but that might not be what you were getting at.
