Patrice, Jacques why don't we ever see you guys wearing a helmet in your pictures :?: I use a helmet only off piste since last season. Especially in December and January, there are invisible rocks right below the fresh snow: what a danger! Of course the visible rocks are also dangerous when one jum...

Push pull technique

The EC technique is the "push pull" technique applied to extreme angulations of the body with the snow. The "push pull" technique is an advanced turn that requires a proper movement of the legs, while the upper part of the body do rotations as taught in the swiss snowboard schools. It comes from sur...

Re: Boots and Bindings

I however, was fascinated by the grace, power and fluid carves. Welcome CarveJunky and thank you for your compliments! The fluidity and the way our turns seem easy (even on difficult snow) come from 3 factors mainly: 1) Our "push pull" technique. Check out a recent thread here . 2) Our extremecarvi...

Blax Stealth bindings

Hi Tom, I,ve been looking for the Blax/Head Stealth II bindings but only found the stealth and the profile carbon. Do You know, where I can find some pics or even the possibility to buy a pair of the stealth II??? The Blax Stealth II is actually the "normal" Stealth binding. Avoid the Intec model (s...

Dangerous for the shoulders?

Although snowboarding is a lot safer than a lot of people think (esp. alpine snowboarding!), this way of riding is a bit dangerous for the shoulders I guess. Good warming up required... Yes, it may be dangerous, especially if the visibility is bad... Running into a bump or a block of ice that one h...

Re: Give us a clue

Slow chairs or surface lifts? Mainly slow surface lifts :D For extremecarving, we prefer the slow lifts: a small flow implies few people on the slope and room for our turns! Resorts with fast chair lifts like Verbier are crowded hells for all the good carvers (snowboard and ski too!) Last ti...

Extremecarving boards in action

If you have missed the info, check out our new 2002 EC movie!
https://www.extremecarving.com/movies/movies02.html

The boards in the movie are exactly the same ones we plan to produce for you (except the deck "look"). Damn, they work so well. Jacques is my god!

Who wants an extremecarving board?

We have to precise that our (your) EC boards could be sold to anyone around the world. The cost of our snowboards should be somewhere between a production race board and a high end custom board. We hope it won't exceed 800 Euros, taxes and shipping exclusive. For now we are making tests and we still...
