I understand that EC recommends to keep the weight evenly distributed on both feet.
Question: at the exit of a carve, do you gently transfer your weight back a bit just prior to the transition phase?
For example, in the Stoked movie at 0:32, it seems that Patrice has *gently* transfer his weight back before the next frontside.
Is this the actual case

?
Thanks beforehand!

Also, the same question, but how about at 1:19 of "Stoked"?
Looks like Patrice does a super-fast mini "hop", taking off with nose-up/tail-down then landing with nose-down/tail-up.
How would one balance/transfer the weight for such a move?

I don't even know when/how to let the board "take off" after a turn yet...

you use the spring effect of the camber, the core and here the atc too that makes the board naturally want to go out of the end of the turn and accompany the pull of the leg.
It needs timing so that the board is flat, still is a bit cambered, and then you do a small ollie like at the end that pops it up air..Those turns are also easier with shorter boards than with giant 185+ race blades..A good 158 or a matching Swoard will spring better than a giant calmer board.
