At least I can give feedbacks on the comparison between the 2 boards after several days spent with the last gen.

For sure the grip is at least as good as the 3D, and certainly better, but the main difference for me, was the way it is easy to do EC on slope where snow condition is not perfect, impressive how the nose behave in small bumps, soft snows, irrgegular snow condition... the board is stable and where you are expecting trouble, nothing happen, the board keeps the grip and the carve just go on as on perfect snow.... wahou :P ... no way for me to go back on the 3D, I just keep it as spare board, just in case the worst happen :roll:
