ecs 09

Post by Willow 15 » Friday 17 October 2008, 10:49

I want to come to ECS09 for the first time and I am trying to organise the logistics of the operation, and need some help.
Can you use public transport to get to Zinal (flying to Geneva) or should I hire a car?
Where is the best place to stay, I will be on my own so don't mind slumming it?
And finally how do you tell the wife and kids that they really would be better off without me at the end of January?
Thanks for any help.

Train to Sierre and post bus from there works fine, if you can not share transportation with someone, no real need for own car, except with car you could get some extra hours on slope on first/last day :)
Plus, it might be good idea to book room not too late due i think most rooms are already now booked

Soft boots

Post by Willow 15 » Monday 27 October 2008, 15:55

Should I bring my soft boot, freeride set up or will I be lynched? Also does everyone stay in Zinal village?

Have the days for the ECS 2009 been officially decided and confirmed? Need to know soon because of airplane and room booking.
