Late Season

Post by Bob L. » Wednesday 23 November 2005, 16:05

Hi,
I was hoping to find some information on which European ski areas have the longest seasons and what the average closing dates are at those areas. My wife and I are looking to do some motorcycle touring this spring or summer but would also like to get some snow time in (if the two aren't mutually exclusive)... Any thoughts/suggestions/advice would be appreciated!!!!

usually french resort open early december and close mid april. That time can be extended as much as a month in may depending on snow conditions.
Resorts with Glaciers open in september and shut in may, reopen in july and shut until sept usually..
