Everywhere I go I find excellent skiers and skiracers to ride with, but good snowboarders are hard to meet.
True. A good hardbooter (just like a woman) is hard to find
There's just simply nothing better to improve your technique than chasing a buddy on a similar setup who is better than you are.
Honestly, with this winter's stupid conditions I'm seriously considering switching back to a soft setup. Powder that becomes slush the next day, IMO, seriously sucks for any kind of carving. Call me a sissy.
Gimme ICE!

Yeah, and slopes are mostly too soft this year.
I consider getting true GS skis with a 27m radius and about 190cm to rip it. Considering the longer the radius the easier for soft snow.
Got some Super-G experience in skiracing so won't be a problem for me to handle race stock GS skis. Or maybe I shall try to get a SuperG Snowboard - like the old 193 Rossis I see a friend riding on when conditions get slushy - it has a 19m radius and should be cheaper than a 203cm tinkler.
If one can't ski during the weak - this season was really bad. I hope for a good finish. My season pass is valid through 1. May and the Hochkar is open till that date as well. After Easter noone goes to the mountains anymore so if its not too hot its great spring riding from mid-april.

ok pics of Alex ( i think they are from last year but he just made a new serie..). Alex is a friend that rides Swoard on piste, and swellpanik's Amok in Courchevel..With the lack of snow and hordes of tourists he walks 5-6 hours each time to find pristine places!

Wow, Those two pictures from Alex look like he had a professional photographer at his side.
I'm off now for the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier - 3 days race training with very promising conditions. I'll leave in 1 hour. The only problem is that I think it might be pretty crowded.

Aaahh, nice Picture form the Lavey-Ridge 2200. Nice black slope down to Geils (left, outside of Foto).
Best Place in Adelboden for ultimate action on the black slope under the chairlift, letting crying and applausing the poeple on chairlift. Is it still there, this 3-person chairlift, or did they replace it?
Did you also ride the steep parts of Klusi & Kummi? (Chairlift, left in the middle of Picture going up to the Luegli)
Gliding on Snowboards,
like Pogo, Kessler, Virus, Hot, Nidecker and others,
from 151 up to 183 cm and 14 to 27.4 cm width,
covering any kind of shapes with
any kind of boots and bindings.

yap thes still have the 3-person chairliftt. But they will replace it next year.. so if you still want to have a ride with it you should be quick
Yap i rode them but 2 weeks ago. Last weekend i didn't go there. I prefer the parts on the left and right side at the small skilift.

Hi,
This is how it was in Oslo the whole Easter from March 31 till Sunday April 8. Yeasterday it was 10 cm fresh powder. It is not as big as in the Alps but on the other side our local slope is between 15 to 30 minutes drive from almost all places in Oslo or neighbourhood, it was perfectly groomed all the time, and best of all, almost no other guests as on the picture (good for us, not for the lift company), so there was a lot of ECing and carving.

Hi Hans,
The picture is taken almost in the city of Oslo, actually not far from the Holmenkollen ski jump at abt 500 meters altitude (the slopes are within the boundaries of the town of Oslo). The webadress is
http://www.tryvann.no/.

Hey Francesco,
Indeed I carved hard! I've met Holger from
www.frozen-backside.de and dug a few trenches into the glacier together.
The new Zylon has not arrived yet, although Frank promised.... so I rocked it with the Messerschmidt 109.... it was great fun on the steeper side of the glacier, but was kinda difficult on the crowded blue runs... but managed not to kill anyone...

Hi, Istvan
What is wrong with your present Gladiator Zylon? that you're waiting a new one?
